Google+

Using Google+ is great to use while you are in college.  It works great for group projects and such.  I love how you can share it with anyone you choose but can limit them to what they can do to the document.

My BehFriend

Y'all I love my Behfriend JeJe. I took a nap earlier and couldn't go back to sleep. Keep in mind that it is almost 3 o'clock in the morning. I called her and she answered on the first ring. When I said that I can't sleep and tart I was bored, she insisted that I come over and chill until we get sleepy together.  I love my girl! She's always there....

P.s. Her loft is very comfortable(whoever has been in her room knows what I'm talking about)

Writing my Doc 3

Writing my Doc 3 is very hard.  My topic is about a fish that does not have a lot of information about itself online.  I do not understand how I am going to write 1,200 words on the topic but I guess I am going to have to try.

Favorite Post

My favorite post would have to be the All About Me one we did when we first started blogging.  Anyone who understands me, knows that I LOVE talking about myself.  And that I LOVE introducing myself to new people.  This specific post allowed me do two of my favorite things at one time.

Huddle House With My Best Friend

Early in the morning around 1:00 a.m, me and my girlfriend Hashondra(JeJe) decided we wanted to go out to eat.  Not having eaten at Huddle House since prom, I decided to go there.  I TOTALLY forgot that you cannot take her ANYWHERE because she always embarrasses me whenever I take her somewhere.  But surprisingly, she acted like a normal human being.  She was still a little on the loud side, but she wouldn't be JeJe if she quiet.  I really enjoyed our little outing and cannot wait until we have another.  And don't worry Larry(Alara), you will be included in the next one. :)

Childhood Games

As a kid, I was IN LOVE with the game Musical Chairs.  Honestly, that was lie, I STILL LOVE THE GAME to this day.  Matter of fact, I played it the other day in the lobby with some friends.  Playing this game could be really fun if you play it with the right people.  I also loved the game 7-up.  I would always cheat because I would have my eyes open and looking at the shoes that passed my desk.  That's how I always knew who had touched me.  Everyone always questioned how much I was right, I would answer by saying that I was just a good guesser.  That also was a lie,  it was because I cheated the ENTIRE game.  So if you went to school with me, now you know how I always guessed the right answer when it came to the game 7-up.

Gun Control

Gun control is a major topic in the US today.  I honestly believe that there are enough gun control laws in the country already.  They are making it harder to receive guns and trying to take them away.  Guns do not kill people, people without a lot of self-control do.  If they take the guns away, then what will be used for protection, pepper spray and baseball bats?  Using these two, is NOT always a 100% scare tactic.

Conflict Within Family

One thing that I love about my family is that we do not have much drama.  This is because whenever we start to have any situation, we address it immediately.  We do not waste any time.  I like the fact that we do not procrastinate talking our problems out.  I feel that is where people go wrong at.  When you ignore the problem, all it is going to do is build it up to a point where you just may not ever be able to rebuild the relationship. 

Working While In College

I respect anyone that is going to college and also working at a job. They type of job does not matter.  It is hard to keep your head in the books while also focusing on your job.  I've been doing it ever since school started and I had to take a vacation. Sadly, my month vacation ends today.

What makes a WIkipedia Introduction Effective?

The introduction HAS to grab the reader's attention.  If I'm reading something and the introduction SUPER boring, I no longer have any interest in reading it.  Your position has to be stated clearly.  Your main idea must also be stated clearly and it must be relevant.

Glad to Meet My Friends

As many may already know, I'm that type of person who is so friendly that they always make friends no matter where they go.  I am so glad to have met the specific friends that I have on this campus.  Without them, there is a lot that I would not have done in life.  They are always making me try new things and actually experience life.  I LOVE MY GIRLS!!

Men V. Women Stereotypes

In the society that we live in, stereotyping is a HUGE issue. The main stereotype that everyone gets upset about is the one between men and women.  I honestly feel as if it is double standard though. A man can go out have be with MANY different women and be labeled as "The Man". But when a woman go out and be with a lot of men, she's classified as a "whore" or a "thot".  I never understood the difference though.  I know women are supposed to hold their selves to a higher standard but still.......

Gay Marriage

As a member of the LGBT community, I am totally for gay marriage.  I believe that at the end of the day, Love is Love, whether it's with a man and a woman, man and a man, or woman and a woman.  I believe that everyone deserves happiness.  If that is what makes you happy, I feel that you should go for it.  Many people will have a problem with it but at the end of the day, you are the only one that matters.  Your happiness is the only thing that matters.

Sloppy v. Neat People

I am neither sloppy or neat.  I'm sort of in-between the two.  Most people think that "sloppy" people are unorganized or just plain out nasty.  But I can bet you that that same unorganized person knows where almost everything is in their bedroom.  Many "neat" people think that their too good for certain people.  All because their organized and always so presentable that their better than anyone who isn't. 

My First Responsibility

I am very excited to be buying my first car on my own. I have had plenty of cars before but with my parent's help.  This is ALL so new to me and I'm skeptical about the consequences I am putting myself in in the future. But at the end of the day, it will all be worth it when I can say that I finally own something.

Preparing for Homecoming Game

I grew up in a small town called Wrightsville.  I attended Johnson County High School.  The academic games always seem like a fashion show.  We dress up just to impress each other.  Today, my girls and I decides we were going to go cranberry.  So all of us went to the mall and bought the items.  I have some jean joggers and a cranberry shirt that have a HUGE black diamond in the middle w/ DOPEST wrote in the top.

Baseball

I HATE MOST SPORTS! But baseball is much different. I am completely in love with the sport.  Usually, I am lost when watching a sports game, but I could watch baseball all day long and never get confused during it.

Handling a Reader in Doc 1

To handle a reader in Doc1 I looked at the comments that were being said.  Some was correct, some were wrong.  I learned that everyone can try to help you out.  However, you shouldn't automatically assume that they are right.  Always check your work and make the decision because sometimes the people who are trying to help, aren't experts and sometimes make mistakes.

Open Topic

I never understood how people goes days without checking their social media accounts.  I check my accounts hourly, sometimes every other minute if I get bored enough.  It's right there at the end of your fingertips.  You will have always have a little break in between doing things.  During those breaks, I check my facebook, instagram, and twitter.  I have always wondered what people do during the breaks if they do not check their accounts.

Handling a Reader

To handle a reader, you have to express your appreciation for their contribution to your work.  Most of the time, they are only trying to help and the best way to respond to their guidance is to reward them with your appreciation.

Learning to write for Wikipedia

Wiki is like totally awesome.  I love how anyone can change it if they disagree with what is being said or if they know a better way to state the sentence.  I also love how it automatically save the document.

Introducing Myself

My name is Brandon Horne.  I am from a small town called Wrightsville, which is like an hour from here.  My major is in education but I'm soon to change it to Business Administration.  I eventually want to own my own business.
